Messiah On The Move – A Study Through The Gospel Of Mark – Gave, Gave (The Widow's Two Mites)

Gave, Gave (The Widow’s Two Mites)

We join Pastor David Crespo in the Gospel Of Mark chapter twelve this morning with a message he’s titled, “Gave, Gave (The Widow’s Two Mites)”. We read through verses forty-one through forty-four and learn about a poor widow, and what she gave to the treasury and how Jesus saw this act of giving! We also learn four things that we can leave with about the act of giving! Let’s listen in to learn more!

Mark 12:41-44 New King James Version

The Widow’s Two Mites
41 Now Jesus sat opposite the treasury and saw how the people put money into the treasury. And many who were rich put in much. 42 Then one poor widow came and threw in two [a]mites, which make a [b]quadrans. 43 So He called His disciples to Himself and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury; 44 for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood.”
