Welcome to our NBCF Kids Page.
Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Caregivers,
I understand that life can be incredibly busy—your days are full between school, sports, dance, gymnastics, and everything else. My goal is not to give you one more thing to add to your already packed schedule but rather to offer an easy, meaningful way to bring Jesus into what you're already doing every day.
This is exactly what we’re commanded to do in Deuteronomy 6:6–9:
“These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”
That’s why I’m excited to continue using the D6 (Deuteronomy 6) Every Day Curriculum for 1st–6th grade!
We’ve been using this Bible study curriculum to help elementary students not only learn God’s Word but also apply it to their everyday lives. It emphasizes biblical literacy and apologetics, and equips both parents and teachers with resources that encourage daily discipleship and meaningful conversations throughout the week.
Why This Matters
A strong partnership between church and home is one of the most powerful ways to influence biblical thinking in today’s culture. It's often easy to teach kids what to believe, but many walk away from their faith because they never understood why they believe it.
The D6 Everyday Curriculum brings together both the what and the why, helping to raise strong disciples who not only know God’s Word but can also discern truth in every part of life.
This coordinated approach equips families to live out the command of Deuteronomy 6—to teach children about God not just at church, but in everyday, every-moment ways.
What to Expect
To help you fulfill this calling:
-
Every Sunday, you’ll get a Parent Page—a simple tool to help you connect with your child about that week’s lesson.
Thank you for allowing us to walk alongside your family in this journey of faith.
In Christ’s service,
Pastor Tony
