Marriage Ministry

Christ and the Church

Marriage Ministry at NBCF exists to honor God’s design for marriage. We encourage husbands and wives to live according to His Word. As a result, couples can love, serve, and respect one another in a way that honors Christ. In addition, Scripture shows that marriage reflects the relationship between Christ and His Church.

God’s Design for Marriage

In Ephesians 5:22–33, God speaks to both wives and husbands. First, He calls wives to respect and submit to their husbands as unto the Lord. Likewise, He calls husbands to love their wives sacrificially, just as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for her.

Marriage is not about dominance or self-interest. Instead, God calls couples to pursue love, sacrifice, unity, and spiritual growth. When husbands and wives follow God’s design, their marriage becomes a powerful testimony of the gospel.

“This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.”
— Ephesians 5:32 (NKJV)

Investing in Your Marriage

Because marriage matters to God, it should also matter to us. Therefore, healthy marriages grow through intentional choices, spiritual focus, and steady investment. Life gets busy, and challenges come. However, couples grow stronger when they choose to grow together in Christ.

One important way to invest in your marriage is to connect with other couples who share the same biblical foundation. For example, community offers encouragement, accountability, and support through every season of married life.

Married Couples Ministry at NBCF

Our Married Couples Fellowship welcomes married and engaged couples who want to strengthen their relationship and grow together in Christ. Together, we build friendships and learn from God’s Word through fellowship, encouragement, and meaningful conversation.

Marriage Ministry at NBCF also provides Christ-centered gatherings throughout the year. Because of this, we encourage you to check the NBCF Event Calendar regularly for upcoming dates and details.

Whether you are newly married or have been married for many years, we invite you to join us as we pursue Christ-centered marriages together.
